Things I Wish I Would’ve Known in High School

Instructor: Jen Weigel | Description: It’s okay if you don’t know what you want to be when you grow up. No matter how many times you change your mind, there are fundamental skills that are valuable in any role. Your instructor, Jen Weigel, a global program manager at Amazon, learned these lessons by changing careers over the years: from accountant to lawyer to copywriter to data analyst to business manager. In this workshop, students who aren’t sure what they want to do when they “grow up” will learn more about skills that are valuable no matter what you do, and create an action plan to learn more about potential careers/majors that interest them.

Clarity - telling a story to listeners that they can easily follow. Connection - realizing the most important tool you have is your authentic self, your real-life experiences, and how they connect you with others.  Armani’ O’Neal work with McGee Air Services as the Sr. Learning & Development Specialist.
